Wounded By Reality
"Wounded By Reality" was born long before 7/10.
Facing a world that chose to move on,
A world that carved the slogan—"Death of Heroes"—
Raising death onto a pedestal,
While those who survived, the wounded,
Were pushed aside,
Into the shadows,
Made unseen.
"Wounded By Reality" opened on 9/10.
In a horrific dialogue
Between past and present,
As if answering
The echo of a future question—
How did 7/10 become possible?

45 Park Lane
Kafka—Better Said, Kafka’s Windows"
"This is all I could think of,"
Chisin shared his thoughts when the place where the world’s elite meets London’s elite honored him with an invitation to exhibit his work. He spoke of his deep pull toward the darkness in Kafka’s writings, his empathy for an existence stripped of hope.

"Kafka’s use of light does not glorify it—
it merely gestures toward its absence,
the absence of hope."
And so do the windows.
Chisin explains how, in Kafka,
windows reflect an estranged reality,
how their intrusion into private space
mirrors the infiltration of evil
into the enclosed refuge of the self.

Enclosed square.
Black square.
Sealed square.

Chisin whispers to the viewer—
"Come, watch."
He draws the viewer in,
not yet, while creating a current of unease,
as if to warn, to announce:
Seclusion.
Isolation.
The loss of human compassion.
