Chisin’s canvas begins in fury—The chaos is hidden, softened by the blue’s embrace, sometimes revealing itself in cracks,
the hues of an untamed soul,
raw emotions buried beneath layers of cobalt blue.

Born from living in the eye of the stormof a cleaved country,
Chisin has made it his quest—to search for the exact pigment of blue,
the one that will offer him a fleeting refuge. His own blue, YO Yo, crafted for him in Florence,
inspired by the ultramarine of Kelvlein,
becomes the only thingthat can contain the storm inside.

If you look closely, through the clefts of his calm,
the vibrant, chaotic bursts of color break free—the turbulent feelings that still rage beneath.

Raised on the human-loving philosophy of the French,Chisin cries in agony,

“Do not forget!” A cry that reverberates through time,
echoing Paul Zlan’s haunting question:
Is it even possible to write poetry after the Holocaust?

In his art,
Chisin finds a momentary peace—a fleeting refuge from a never-ending cycleof death and violence,
until the next wave of trauma rises.
